We have organised a full a weekend of delightful activities. If you are able to, come a few days early and enjoy a house concert with Scottish folksinger Jim Malcolm – always a treat! Friday we host a rousing Contra dance with popular callers Carol Ormand, Roger Diggle, and Steve Pike and music by O’er the Border (Mike Briggs, piano, Dave Mullen, fiddle, & friends) with Sylvia Miskoe. Saturday we convene in the grandeur of Madton Abbey (UW Memorial Union Great Hall) for a sit-down dinner and ball. Come dressed in your favorite decade of Downton Abbey finery, as your favorite Downton Abbey character, or in your favorite ball attire. Period dress optional. It’s a weekend you won’t want to miss!

We are most honoured to feature at our ball O'er the Border with special guest Sylvia Miskoe on accordion. Sylvia is a founding member of the Scottish dance band The White Cockade, which plays for Scottish and contra dance events in New England. She is also a founding member of the Strathspey and Reel Society of New Hampshire, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and teaching of Scottish music, and has traveled to Scotland to further her knowledge of traditional music.

The deadline for early registration and dinner is March 20; a $10 late fee will apply after that date.
