The Oak Apple Morris dance team was founded in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979 and has been performing Morris Dances from the Cotswold region of England since then. The team dances at the end of Picnic Point in Madison at dawn on Mayday (May 1st) every year. The photo was taken on May 1st 2002.

The team has performed at various folk music festivals, town festivals, weddings, and other events.

We practice on Wednesdays from about 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Neighborhood House on S. Mills St. in Madison.
